An exemption from the GPA guideline is granted if a student earns a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the previous semester while taking on a comparable load and must meet subsequent requirements. Students who have completed Grade 6 of the Integrated Programme (IP) in Singapore and obtained an IB diploma can apply through the Direct Admission Exercise (DAE-Local). IB diploma students can also apply for certain diploma courses that allow them to complete the course in 2 or 2.5 years, provided they meet the entry requirements.
